Literature Text

I watch you slip behind the skies.
Wonder; what will you say
when you touch your lips to my bones?
Will you gasp because I am so
very cold?  I am watching you play with
my hair right now in my mind if only
to decipher why, oh why you find
it so intriguing.  Maybe I think to much
in this corner, maybe I slept for too long
in a super-massive hole that was entwined
with only prophecy and hearsay.

A fable stuck to my tongue
and I smile with my eyes today because
you watch our fingers draw together.  Tracing
the lines, I find my way home.
I'll fly, you buy
